PRINCESS ACADEMY 2015
PRINCESS ACADEMY was the premiere of a new stage adaptation based on the book by Shannon Hale. It was produced in the Pardoe Theatre at Brigham Young University and was directed by Megan Sanborn-Jones. The project needed a very adaptable space that would allow characters to flow between multiple locations, in and out of memories and through season after season within seconds. More of a storytelling experience, the show used an array of songs, dance and creative dramatics to present this teenage fairytale. The design allowed for the ever-present Mount Eskel and levels to allow the cast to move freely through their narration.
