SWEENEY TODD   1989

This community production of SWEENEY TODD, THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET was performed in an abandoned warehouse near the train tracks in south Provo, Utah. Directed by Neil Vanderpool, the production had to actually pause to wait for trains to pass just outside the wall of the theatre space. Conceptually, the director wanted to match the textured and grimy environment in which it was performed.
