CHARLOTTE'S WEB 2016
Brigham Young University produced CHARLOTTE'S WEB on the Pardoe Stage. I was the Scenic Designer for the production. The set offered the silhouette of a barn with two different doors for the two major locations of the play. There were also two magically-appearing webs that also had words that would appear in the middle of them as the show progressed. The Director had Charlotte perform aerial silk tricks throughout the play, so these silk hangings had to also be placed carefully for best effect. Simple and clean, the objective was to stay out of the way of the actors and offer an environment that suggested the placement of the scenes. The show was co-directed by Shawnda and Bradly Moss.
